It’s never changed Staff have managed to find gaps to make trades around all this crap all of the time. My nose just isn't far enough up somebody ass I guess. Playing the rules works out great when you want them and not so well when you don't want them. I got screwed I am use to that in this league |

I get that the NMC/NTC are frustrating. But at the same time, a lot of them are you guys giving them out. I realize Vasi is from irl. But look at PS5HL. We started with 0, yet there’s quite a few. There’s a window to trade them without any issues, in the offseason. I’m not sure what the hangup is. It is posted :/

I imagine those conversations go very similar to this GM - I would like to sign Wayne Gretzky to a 8M x 7 year ext PR - 10M GM - Are you kidding me!?! I need a discount PR - 9M NMC GM - Thanks PR you a pal! Meanwhile, 1 week into the season somewhere in BOS … GM - hey um PR you up??? |

Ive been working a trade for 3 days and then today realized Tavares had a NMC and it killed the trade lol. Sometimes you just got to get creative (Im still trying to do that trade but I have to find a 3rd or even 4th team)
You just got to work around the clauses

I like the element of having a set rule for the clauses but at the same time it takes away from the realism of the site. For example in this instance irl Vasi would more likely waive than not because of what Tampa is planning on doing. Look at the Hawks irl... Toews just said he wants out and I can ensure you Kane will want out by the deadline. Would they want to be on a playoff team? Sure, but they would probably be open to going to a team like Ottawa (ew) or New Jersey that are up and comers and will be looking to compete with another solid piece.
At the end of the day I understand where you guys are coming from but we should definitely take another look at the clauses and try to find a way to add some realism to them not "well I get you want to rebuild and x wants to go to the playoffs but you're one point ahead of him so this can't be accepted".
