Detroit needs to get out of Hall's contract as we have 2-3 key guys (2 LW'ers who are younger and as good as Hall too) we need to re-sign next offseason. This helps us and we are willing to downgrade because of that.

I've had Hall OTB this season and in the offseason. I had 1 GM approach me with a trade offer.
I'm in no position to get back even value, unfortunately.
