Hopefully with a lesser Prospect this will get this trade put through  Boston Gets: C Anthony Beauvillier PLY 81 - 2.5M UFA 2022 (22) NJD 2021 1st NJD 2021 3rd NJD 2021 4th NJD 2021 5th Winnipeg Gets: LD Torey Krug OFD 89 - 6.50M UFA 2028 - (29)Bruins Retain 3.25M for 1 year accepted. This allows Winnipeg to take a shot at things in the next couple years and allows Boston to continue with the teams rebuild |

what would I have to do?? Krug for just the picks?? You shouldn't be able to manipulate your 2nd team for their picks like that, that you traded for, for them, man. I get that you want the big shot at the 1st overall with your primary team... Who doesn't? But trying to do it this way is kinda shady, and not what we have secondary teams for IMHO. Sorry. and that draft pick could be a 10th could be a 15th could be a first. Team fall apart and teams go crazy winning a teams. But you are basically saying I am trading for the 1st. Well what if it is a 10th. You can play a 10th for year or two.

Can we all agree that there is NO such thing as a secondary teams?
Our 2 teams, are our 2 teams. Equal. No 2nd team.
We don't have enough GM's to fill these teams. They ain't ever getting filled. We're GM'ing them like our own. These aren't foster kids we're holding onto until someone adopts them. They are ours.
Anyways, I'll accept as long as cook doesn't make any more trades between his teams this season.

I still think its fair. Krug is a first line player now, which Jets needs more than a potentially first line player three seasons from now. Just cause NJD is last now doesn't mean they will be at the end of the season. We should treat it more like a top 10 pick than the 1st overall.

I will also accept. Some risk in moving picks yes. But njd could pull their shot together and make the playoffs. Krug is elite and not expensive.
