Lol. How can we have guys going either way?
I literally met all of you in the middle. Does 2 rejects on either side equal 4 accepts?

This is one of those weird trades where you're not going to make anybody happy. Especially because it's between your own teams as well, people will be even harder on it.

Trading Raty off of the Blues would be a huge mistake. The only hole is Goalie and maybe a 1st line RW. But trading one of the Stromes should get them a RW and Nilsson will be a free agent so he can get a goalie with all the Money the Blues have. Trading Raty would be the worst possible trade. Blues already have a Kadri and Bennett with the Strome brothers.

4 rejects is 4 rejects. It was rejected and finaled. It is done . I realize it’s done but it doesn’t make sense as to why guys are on both sides. That should never happen

Treat Raty as if he's a 95, because that's what he's going to be next season. If you're ok with that package for a top 5 player in the league, I don't know what to say lol

This is why I hate when the same gm trades between their 2 teams. You’re always going to have your favourite

That should never happen Because we're all individuals and value things differently. That much for 1 player is absolutely abhorrent, no matter how young he is or how many UFA rights you stack in there. Not to mention it's between your own two teams. 95%-98% of the league has a hard time acquiring a 90+ player, so you just throw four 85+ players, two of which are pending FAs that you had no intention of extending anyways, and your primary team gets a 91 rated 19 yr old that just got the Calder. How do you think that's ok? Let alone justify why STL would trade away their best player for a collection of stiffs.

I likely won’t try this again and appreciate all the feedback, I’m only annoyed because people are so far on opposite ends it makes trades for stars impossible

Especially when you're just tossing in your spare parts to try and get one for your primary team from your secondary team man. Really... That's just abusing the privilege of having a 2nd team. How do you think it would go over if I did this, for example: TO: C Matthew Barzal PLY 90 - 8.25M UFA 2025 (24) TO: C Adam Lowry TWF 86 - 4.0M UFA 2024 (29) RW Andrew Mangiapange SNP 85 - 4.0M UFA 2026 (26) LD Brayden McNabb DFD 87 - 2.5M UFA 2022 (31) -UFA Rights LD Alec Martinez TWD 85 - 7.0M UFA 2022 (34) -UFA Rights Who would accept that? I wouldn't.

Put it this way, I would offer you a LOT more for Raty, but I don't agree with trading the guy who just won the Calder
