sorry but nobody wanted to touch Smith because of his stats in his time in NewJersey and there was only 3 defensemen I wanted to replace him and I knew I was going to have to pay. Oh yes you didn't want him either lol |

But you wanted me to trade Smith Roy and Tkachuk and get only one player that I liked lol. The way you wanted things was never going to happen. This fills exactly what I wanted out of smith in a trade OEL but I had to use Pavelski as a cap dump to get it done. The trade with you was never going to happen!!! |

Oh yes you didn't want him either lol Well that’s a flat out lie. I came to you and ask what it would take for Smith and you said McAvoy and I said I wasn’t going to move him for Smith. But I still think is a huge overpayment. Smith for Oel is acceptable I guess since smith doesn’t seem to aim that well right now |

You know I love ya Cook but after all this time you should know that as soon as you get negative about trade, players don't want to play for you.
