THE LEAGUE WILL CONTINUE TO BE FREE
There has been some new developments that will allow this site to continue as a FREE SERVICE
This site operates best when it has the best GMs active, which happens to be all of you. I will not let money get in the way of an experience that creates happiness or excitement in individuals. The focus and stress I have for this site is caused by the desire to create the best experience for all of you. Therefore, we will continue to operate on a FREE-to-PLAY basis, yet donations will still be promoted/accepted.
The Future of HLS
The ONLY changes that will occur are:
1. YouTube
-Every simulation will be broadcasted in a short YouTube video (Box Scores will still be POSTED)
-Each simulation will have a 'True Broadcast' game
-May create a series "Creating" & "Upgrading/Downgrading" players for GMs to see full attribute adjustments
2. Simulations Shortened
-Sims will now take place in 3 days segments, opposed to 7 days like before
-This will create longer seasons for GMs to maintain and adjust their rosters
-Will give GMs more time to set lines and find the right chemistry
3. Upgrade/Downgrade System Adjustment*****
-There will be slight adjustments made to the U/D System come REBOOT
-Older Players (33+) will have AUTO Downgrades
-Younger Players (21>) will have Upgrade Caps
4. Staff Adjustment
-Inputting private information into the ADMIN system so there has been a slight change
-Global Moderators (Ottawa Senators GM , Vancouver Canucks GM & St. Louis Blues GM ) are to be considered to have as much say as an ADMIN
-Everyone else will continue to be MODERATORS with the same responsibility of keeping this league healthy
5. Trade Approval/Rejection Adjustment
-Trade APPROVAL will now take 5 ACCEPTS
-Trade REJECTION will now take 5 REJECTS
***ADDED CHANGES FOR REBOOT***
3. Upgrade/Downgrade System Adjustment******
- generic -1 for players 33-36 and -2 for players 37+
- AHL players 78+ will be downgrade eligible only
6. No Boosters
-there will only be 1st/2nd picks
-Prospects have boosted dynamic ratings
-GMs will now have access to 3 years worth of 1st/2nd picks to trade with
7. RFA Status
-players will now have a RFA status up to 25
-players 26+ will have UFA status
8. APU Max
-APU Max is now set to 78 Overall
The last poll results were in favour of REBOOT if we started memberships, however that is now not the case. So re-setting the poll to see if you guys want to continue forward to finish this ERA in Season 10 - or head straight for a REBOOT after this season.
Will still be heavily focused on social media to make this league better than it ever has been, so all the activity/support is still much appreciated and suggest all participate to allow us to achieve peak activity.
