What foot or salt lmao. Neal’s contract sucks ass, there is no ifs ands or buts about it. It’s sucks plain and simple. Since you wanted to keep it so bad, maybe if you didn’t move one of the best contracts in Draisaitl for another rough contract in Price maybe you could’ve made minor moves to open up the rest of the cap space that you needed. Price's contract isn't that rough either... And, as I said, if I didn't have those RL retentions, I'd have Neal & Price too, and this wouldn't have even been an issue at all. 🤷 If it's not what you would do, great... I don't give a shit. Neal should be an 85-86, which $5.75M is reasonable for and the Oilers, clearly, by the sims, needed a goalie... So I got one; A good one. I would've been after Holtby in FA had I not landed Price, which I still would've had to clear cap for. I don't regret trading Drai for Price one bit. Why should Neal be an 85-86? Because McDavid carried him to a somewhat good season? Without McDavid or Draisaitl he was invisible for the most part. |
