CGY needs short-term starting G for the next 3-4 years while Parsons develops properly into long-term starter. CGY will finally be able to take a big leap forward defensively so their young kids can develop fully into their potential. Andersen fits in CGY while the pick should fall between 25-31st so its expendable. With an already established core and much better team in CGY this upcoming season, this move solidifies their competitiveness. CGY keeps their 2nd so they still draft a prospect in 2021.
