To PIT:
C Mark Scheifele PLY 88 - 6.125M UFA 2024 (30) RD Anttoni Honka TWD 85 - 3.6M UFA 2025 (22) RD Drew Helleson TWD 81 - 1.000M RFA 2025 (22) LW Mason Bergh SNP 84 - 1.0M UFA 2024 (28) C Peter Cisar SNP 63 - 1.0M RFA 2026 (18) - this was CBJ 1st 2023 picked Cisar for PIT CBJ 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th 2023 CBJ 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th 2024 WSH 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th 2023
To CBJ:
C Evgeni Malkin PLY 91 - 7.5M UFA 2025 (36) LD Olli Maatta TWD 86 - 5.00M UFA 2025 (28) LD Mario Ferraro TWD 81 - 1.250M RFA 2024 (24)
Looks like a lot with the picks added on but mine and Washington's this year weren't a high pick, guessing mine next year won't be either. Breakdown for me:
Scheifele + Helleson + 2023 picks = Malkin (have to overpay if I want Russian chemistry of Ovi - Malkin - Senko) Honka + 2024 picks = Maatta (Maatta is of more value to me as he can be upgraded and play top LD, Honka is my 3rd RD behind Subban and Piets) Berg = Ferraro (Ferraro I can use my AMPU on which I don't have anyone eligible for at the moment)

There's way too much value going to PIT imo ...reject I’m good with paying too much tho. This completes my Russian line and gives me my top 2 left defenceman and second paring LD while the picks aren’t of great value to me trying to contend.

Meh, late picks usually don't become anything major without the team using AMPUs or MPUs on them.
I'll accept.

The age/ratings speak volumes to me Theres 10 CBJ players being traded for 3 PIT players out of those 10 CBJ players - the oldest is 30 and the youngest is 18 out of those 3 PIT players - the oldest is 36 and the youngest is 24 Malkin has the highest rating, which is +3 more than Scheifele - but Scheifele is 6 years younger Honka is the most valuable piece IMO & there are three 1st, three 2nds, +16 in BOOSTERS, an ELITE C, a TOP 9 FWD & TOP 6 D (that is only 22) that are packaged with him Sorry viperousperky not trying to be a buzzkill but Malkin is not nearly this valuable - especially with the system downgrades

I understand what your saying but I don’t think you see the whole picture.
There isn’t an 18 year old and 3 firsts. The 18 year old was CBJ first. And it’s a possibility none of the picks even make the nhl.
Your also looking at this as Malkin being the only piece of value. When Maatta gets here he will be upgraded to an 88 and played first pairing. Being only 28 he shouldn’t get downgraded for a while and with how potent my offence would be he could get enough points to get upgraded. So Maatta honestly has more value to me than honks. Ferraro will be turned into an 85 using ampu and played top 4. At 24 years of age he will be a part of my core for years.

Trust me - I see the full picture The 3 firsts include your 18 year old - Never said it was an 18 year old + 3 firsts Still with MPU/AMPU its not enough IMO since Honka will have 8 more years of potential upgrades while Maattaa has this season and next only. This is only my opinion.

I understand what your saying and know I’m paying a bit much. Pit had to be convinced to move malkin so I added extra value. About a hellison and bergh extra lol.
Maatta and Ferraro are part of the long term plans. Malkin is more short term. None of the picks are part of my plan.
I only made the moves for ovi and Tarasenko knowing I had malkin lined up. I need him to up their production or the downgrades will be worse.
I respect your opinion but this is my team and I’d like it if you would respect mine as well. I know what I’m doing and it’s not like I’m going to wreck this team then abandon it lol. This may be a little lopsided but not enough to reject. I’m getting the best player and the other half of my top 4 D. This is exactly what my team needs.
