First, this isn't even formatted properly. Second, Bedard will automatically be a 90 at 20 from the +3 at 18 and the +2 at 19. A 90 at 20 >>>>> a 90 at 25. Then there's McLeod who is a solid piece. Yeah there's 7th overall, but that's still a huge dropoff from an 85 at 18. In this league, Bedard will likely be a 91-92 very early, and has a big shot at being a top 3 player. I don't even think this is enough

He drops 6 spots, and will get a guy that's maybe 7OA less, where he also gets Pettersson and a 1st round pick next year. Not to mention, it's insanely tough to get past 90 in this league. MAYBE Bedard does well, but he may just stick with a 90, like Petey did. Meaning by 25, he'll also be a 90, but NJD then gets an additional top prospect, and a potential lottery pick next year too |

Here though, getting a younger elite C than Draisaitl who is still a 90 is better imo, also the 7th pick could turn out to be 85-88 in the next two years if maxed out on upgrades so its a pretty good deal especially if VAN misses playoffs next season. NJD just will have to live with the fact that you shouldn't be making two deals for the same player at the same time if you don't really want one of the deals ha |

But what bothered me was how you liked the other post and posted this one. It just doesn't make sense Ya I PMed Minny about it. I messaged NJD about the 1st overall right after the lottery draft and tried to come up with a deal. Then when I signed on yesterday, I initially saw the deal posted before looking at my messages. I saw the Pettersson deal when I looked at my messages and said I would've done it. NJD said he preferred it. I feel shitty about it, but it happens in the NHL quite a bit too. You think one deal is happening, and then the team takes something different. The 3-way deal was shitty for EDM anyway |
