hahah true, McDavid had more goals, more assists, more takeaways, and more powerplay points.

People would rather an 84 get an upgrade though rather than a 96. 96 getting a +1 is way more valuable than an 84 getting a +1

Hart Memorial Trophy: "Most Valuable Player in regular season"

Ted Lindsay Award: “to the most outstanding player in the NHL”

Hart Trophy Noms are based on team performance and individual stats. Guys that don't have elite surrounding cast and still perform at a high level, should be considered for Hart. The game actually gave it to Rantanen, but I think Turcotte deserves it more simply due to his OA and lack of skill surrounding him on BOS, while pushing them to a playoff spot.

Ted Lindsay Noms are based on being the best overall player regardless of team performance. McDavid is clear cut favourite due to winning the scoring race and having a solid two-way game. The game gave it to McDavid too.
