Not sure I like this for CHI
Mysak for Burakovsky I can get behind straight up.
But then CHI moves Barrie who is 86 w/ 50% retention for two years for Tuomisto + Samanski?
Then to boot they give up their 2nd for Holloway.
Think Barrie at 50% could get a lot more especially in the offseason. There needs to be a lot more headed to CHI since they are a NON-GM team.

From what I can tell Barrie is on pace for a downgrade right now. I want Chicago to secure a top 5 pick and I don't want Barrie next season. Nobody has sent offers for him and I figured Barrie could be elite with Hedman so I offered this to Boston. But I wouldn't be opposed to Boston giving Holloway to Chicago without them having to give up their 2027 2nd since Boston is getting an 86 at 2.75M for two seasons

Also if Barrie is going to be elite in BOS then he should get an elite return no? I like the idea of CHI moving on from Barrie as much as you but they deserve to get a fair return to continue their rebuild since Tuomisto & Samanski types can just be signed in UFA without spending an asset like Barrie.

Sure but still three 77s that are 22+ shouldnt equate to an 86OA RD making 2.75M for two seasons. Thats my opinion though & the only reason I'v voicing my concern is cause CHI is NON-GM team.

If anyone else had offered for Barrie I'd look for more of a return but I want to move him asap to help Chicago get a better draft position. I don't want to wait until the offseason
