END OF AN ERA
Hey guys, it's that time. The plan was to go to 10 simmed seasons this Era and we will be accomplishing that. That means there are 3 SEASONS remaining of sims and 2 OFFSEASONS after this one. Want to clarify a few things as we wrap up this Era and ultimately the end of HLS.
First and foremost I want to thank all of you for your commitment and participation, without your activity and time spent with maintaining your rosters, we wouldn't exist!
As we wrap up the final seasons, we will be going full steroid mode to have an all out blitz for the Cup.
1. Draft Picks for MPU exchange
Starting next offseason, we will be introducing a Draft Pick for MPU exchange, with the exchange rate as follows:
2030 & 2031 PICKS
1st round picks
1st round Picks order 1-5 = 6 MPU each
1st round Picks order 6-16 = 5 MPU each
1st round Picks order 17-32 = 4 MPU each
2nd round picks
2nd round picks order 33-39 = 3 MPU each
2nd round picks order 40-49 = 2 MPU each
2nd round picks order 50-64 = 1 MPU each
2032 PICKS
1st round picks = 4 MPU each
2nd round picks = 2 MPU each
The picks that are exchanged will be relative to the year of the offseason.
A) Next offseason, 2030 Picks can be exchanged for for MPU
B) The last offseason, 2031 & 2032 Picks can be exchanged for MPU
There will still be a 1st & 2nd round lottery that will give an extra boost to Prospects selected in 2030 draft and then MPU boosts for picks in 2031 Offseason.
2. Prospect for MPU exchange
Starting next offseason, we will be introducing a Prospect for MPU exchange, with the exchange rate as follows:
1 Prospect 89+ (21>) = 6 MPU
1 Prospect 85-88 (21>) = 5 MPU
1 Prospect 81-84 (21>) = 4 MPU
1 Prospect 77-80 (21>) = 3 MPU
1 Prospect 71-76 (21>) = 2 MPU
1 Prospect 70> (21>) = 1 MPU
You will be allowed to keep the Prospect and play them where you'd like after they are exchanged, HOWEVER, each Prospect will have a ONE TIME exchange, meaning if you exchange a Prospect(s) in 2031 Offseason, you will not be able to exchange those same Prospects again in the 2032 Offseason, so choose your timing wisely.
We will still have APU for the remaining Offseasons in order to boost a prospect to get a higher MPU exchange rate on them, be smart where you spend them!
3. There will be 1 more WJC & 1 more Draft
This one is pretty simple. This upcoming season we will still incorporate a WJC for Prospect Upgrades, and we will still have Prospects available in the 2030 DRAFT.
GMs will have the option to Draft a Prospect with their 2030 Picks *OR* Exchange their 2030 Picks for MPU.
Keep a strategy in mind for this, because a Prospect thats drafted may carry more MPU exchange weight than the Draft Pick exchange rate, so scouting the WJC will still be crucial.
4. There will be a World Cup tournament prior to the start of S9 & S10
With the ending of the WJC this upcoming season, we will be adding a World Cup that will involve an MPU boost for Players and MPU Reward for top 3 teams.
ANY Player can be nominated for their respected countries, and we will be using the same teams in WJC, minus a Draft Team which will be Team SVK, while Team CZE will take on its own team again. There will still be a REJECTS team for players that are cut by their countries GMs.
We will have 2 GMs per World Cup team, so everyone will have a chance at the MPU Reward after the tournament is played.
The tournament will take place before the start of S9 & S10 to insure the Players boosts are applied for the entirety of the season they play.
5. Contracts signed till 2032 & Flat Cap
Any players signed to 2032 or more will not need another Extension as the Era will be over at the 2032 Offseason. Keep this in mind when trying to manage your cap for the remaining of the Era.
Also we will finish the Era with a FLAT CAP of 108.000M, so manage your Cap accordingly!
Hope this helps, and while its disappointing to make the finish line a reality here at HLS, I'd rather we are all on the same page when it coms to wrapping up the Era. This should allow you all to gauge value for trades and position yourselves for a Cup run in the remaining time we have.
