Need to advocate for my boy Fabio...
Lysell is a 79 OVERALL FWD with 27G - 49PTS - +11 - 7 GAME WINNING GOALS - with only 14:41 ice time per game!
Not too mention his GIVEAWAY - TAKEAWAY ratio is the best among ALL ROOKIES
Thats 3rd line magic as a 19 year old!
"Exciting Victory. Always Fabio." - Fabian Lysell after winning the 2022-23 CALDER

Savoie coming in as an 18year old had to earn his way on to an NHL team. With his determination he made it there and proved he belonged on an NHL team. He wasn't given that extra year of NHL coaching and told what he needed to work to make the team as an 19. Savoie did it on his own and proved he could cut in the NHL as an 18 year old, proving he is most deserving of the Calder Trophy!!!

TIE BREAKER NEEDED
GMS WILL HAVE 24 HOURS TO RECONSIDER THEIR VOTE
IF A TIE STILL EXISTS - THEN THE AWARD WILL BE SHARED (BOTH PLAYERS WILL STILL RECEIVE +2)

TIE BREAKER NEEDED GMS WILL HAVE 24 HOURS TO RECONSIDER THEIR VOTE IF A TIE STILL EXISTS - THEN THE AWARD WILL BE SHARED (BOTH PLAYERS WILL STILL RECEIVE +2) Why +2 for Calder when all the other awards are +1? Given the way our up/downgrades work, you'd think the 18/19 year olds would need the extra point less than any other winners

went with Fabian; more goals, 6 more game-winning goals, more blocks, just 4 less takeaways, with 2 mins less on average. #votepedro

went with Savoie as he led all rookies in assists and points as an 18year old. He came out and earned that one minute more of ice time as an 18 year old!!!!
