Player Rep criteria for NTC/NMC

-TEAMS CAN ONLY carry 3 SALARY RETENTIONS at ONCE (max retention amount is 50% each contract)
-TEAMS CAN carry unlimited BUY-OUTS at ONCE - (DOES NOT INCLUDE COMP. B/O) - as long as the OVERALL HIT is LESS THAN 12.0M
-FREE BUYOUTS will ONLY occur for PLAYERS 1.0M and UNDER
-PLAYERS do NOT have to go through WAIVERS if their CONTRACT is 1.0M or LESS
-PLAYERS 20 YEAR OLD or OLDER that are 81 OVERALL or OVER, need to be placed on WAIVERS to be sent down to MINORS
-PLAYERS 24 YEARS OLD or YOUNGER w/1.75M or LESS - do NOT require WAIVERS to be sent down to MINORS
-PLAYERS must be WAIVED for BUYOUT. (post "if clears, will be bought out" or "if clears, will go to minors")
-PLAYERS that are BOUGHT OUT will carry 1/4 (25%) CAP HIT of their CONTRACT
-PLAYERS placed on WAIVERS CAN be CLAIMED
-WAIVER PERIOD is 24 HOURS
-IF a PLAYER is CLAIMED, the WAIVING TEAM carries NO penalty
-IF a PLAYER CLEARS, the WAIVING TEAM carries 1/3 (33.33%) of the PLAYERS SALARY for the REMAINDER of the CONTRACT
-PLAYERS that PREVIOUSLY CLEARED WAIVERS must be placed on WAIVERS at the START of EACH SEASON to be placed in the MINORS
-IF MULTIPLE TEAMS CLAIM a PLAYER on WAIVERS - the TEAM that is LOWEST in the CURRENT STANDINGS will CLAIM the PLAYER.
-IF a TEAM CLAIMS a PLAYER - they will go the end of the CLAIM PRIORITY LIST (regardless of CURRENT STANDINGS)
JUNIORS
-PLAYERS (18-19) must be posted on the '*18-19* PROSPECTS' thread each season to be used in the NHL
-PLAYERS (18-19) can be SENT TO JRs ANYTIME from when they are DRAFTED to BEFORE THE TRADE DEADLINE of EACH SEASON
-PLAYERS SENT TO JRs or WJC will be INELIGIBLE to return to the NHL until the START of the NEXT SEASON
-PLAYERS (18-19) WILL carry their FULL CAP HIT if on the NHL ROSTER
-PLAYERS (18-19) WILL NOT carry a CAP HIT if SENT TO JRs or WJC
WJC
Players aged 18-23 (24 for goalies) will be eligible to be nominated for the World Jrs / World Championship. This is replacing the AHL quick sim.
These players will be eligible for performance upgrades based on their performance in the tournament.
Upgrades will be dynamic, and done by the simmer.
Players will be eligible for the tournament only 3 times
Each team can nominate up to 7 players (8 if there is a G) to the 11 World Junior / World Championship teams (USA, Canada West, Canada East, Russia, Sweden, Finland, Czech, Slovakia, North America, World Team East, World Team West)
World Jrs / World Championship will take place Jan 1st in game
The teams will have players from upcoming drafts playing as well. Which could result in an unknown boost being applied after they are drafted.
Scouting the box scores of these tournaments is strongly encouraged.
There will also be upcoming FAs showcasing their skills in this tournament. So this will be chance to see how they perform
