Minnesota Wild GM Seattle Kraken GM canes435 Old GregSince NYI moved their 2nd 2022 twice, here is what is going to happen The 1st team that acquired the pick is awarded the pick - Calgary Flames Pittsburgh will be awarded the following: - An automatic 63rd overall pick in the 2022 draft - NYI 2nd round pick 2023 - NYI 5th round pick 2023 *condition* - The NYI 22nd is 37th overall. If NYI 2nd 2023 ends up 37th overall or higher, PIT will receive nothing. If the pick is 38-44, PIT receives a 5th. 45-52, Pit receives a 4th, 53+ PIT receives a 3rd. This means NYI cannot trade any of their 2023 boosters until the NYI 2nd 2023 has been slotted in the draft. This will be standard if this issue occurs again. The 1st acquiring team will always keep the pick. The 2nd team will be awarded the pick the next year, an extra late 2nd for the headache, and a conditional boosters to ensure they receive the same value. The team making the mistake will be 'punished' by not being able to trade their boosters in the following season. If the team has already traded their picks in the next season... we'll use context and cross that bridge when we get there. Please pay attention to what picks you move. Please update your rosters
