To:  LD Rasmus Sandin TWD 81 - 1.3M RFA 2023 (22) RD Jordan Schmaltz TWD 80 - 1.1M UFA 2025 (28) C Cole Sillinger TWF 73 - 1.0M RFA 2024 (19) for To  C Sam Bennett TWF 86 - 5.5 RFA 2022 (25) - rights Player Rep has confirmed that Bennett will sign with STL. Philly has no room for Bennett and paying 5+ mill for a 3rd liner doesn't make sense with good FA's out there. They do however need a 3rd pairing and STL could use Bennett more effectively |

Also, even if he was signed for the greatest contract in the history of the NHL, it'd still most likely be a reject. Prospects/young players have immense value in this league |

My rejection is based on the fact he agreed in PM to trade me Sillinger in deal and that I'm sure someone would take Bennett's rights if he was being as reasonable on the ask as he is for himself.

Take Sillinger out and hopefully we don’t have to see Bennett’s name in trade talks for awhile lol
