Same reasons above, Josi at half cap hit for 2 years is worth more than this

Jones is a fairly decent defender that can be signed to a good contract this year then upgraded, he’s 7 years younger, and it’s 8 overall points deference, isn’t 2 decent prospects enough to make up 8 overall? Plus after these two years I have a 33 year old Josi making 11 million for 4 more seasons, the two years of retention doesn’t matter much to Nashville because he’s a year or two away from a playoff team anyways

It is a super bargain for you for the next two years. D hold their value relatively well so everyone is saying there's not enough being given up by you for a 90OA. |

I agree with my compatriots above. Not one over 85-86 going to Nashville, and while Jones maybe a good defender, he's a bottom pairing player, as of now.
As for Zito, I can only imagine that he'll remain in junior this season, and there's no guarantee that he'll receive another +5 like he did this season. He might top out at 85-86, though unlikely... And unless he has a rocket up his ass, he won't get much above that.
Finally, the picks are kind of a wash with the Leafs being a perennial playoff team and those picks being bottom 15; more like bottom 10.
Not enough for Josi.
