your not allowed to trade between your two teams rejected Really? Could have sworn I’ve seen you do it a bunch of times. Or is this a new rule?

The last time anybody did it was probably 6 or 7 seasons ago. It has been against the rules for awhile or I would have done once a year for sure I think they made rules to allow minor players or something like that if needed. Crap I have one team stacked with forwards and one team stacked with defensemen, I would love to be able to trade lol

The rule is players 87> can be traded between own teams and you can only do 1 trade per season.
GMs were notified via PM when it came into effect after STL tried to trade Raty to himself in ERA 2 so it should be well known by now.
Couple GMs have been doing it recently & I have no issues with it as long as the secondary team is winning.
I edited the TRADE RULES so that its in there now in case GMs forget.
In this trade though, I'd like to see RD Miller going to STL instead of RD Montour, think that would make this fair for me.

I thought about that as well but there were 2 reasons I didn't do that. 1) Miller would probably take over the d core there and that will probably hurt Vukojevic's stats. 2) The Sabres just signed Miller to a new contract with a NMC and I think it'd be a bad move to trade him before that extension even kicks in.

I mean it’s fair but this is kind of stacking your primary team for a playoff push imo

It helps both teams. St. Louis desperately need a RD to play on their top pairing and Kadri is no use to them on the third line.
Montour is no use on Buffalo’s bottom pairing and they could use Kadri.
I can add in picks but the foundation is certainly there for both teams.

rejected it is obviously better for the main team and a bad trade for the secondary team. Make it Miller like he said before and it works for Stlouis much better

alright it is open season on trading with your two teams awesom Trading between your teams has always been open as long as the players involved are less than 87 overall.

Sad that you have to trade with your own team though. One of the points of these leagues is to negotiate with other teams

I tried negotiating with other teams for Montour, nobody wanted to move a center for him that I was looking at. I didn’t even want to do this trade but it legit made too much sense not to.
St. Louis has a bunch of centres and needed a RD, Buffalo had a solid RD on their bottom pairing and needed a better center. Works for both teams.
