I'm rejecting this myself, as I would have the other...
1) Loading up with a bunch of spare parts for 91 in a deal, whether he's being auto-downgraded or not, is crap.
2) Paying half the cap on any contract less than $2M-$3M is complete BS & lazy, not to mention how much folks abuse the privilege of paying for cap; this being a classic example of it.

Well this trade doesn’t really bother me because I’m not sure anyone in the league will give up something good for Gio because of his age. I mean personally I think it’s a crap return but with how everyone evaluates older guys then idk. I want to say no but I want to say yes too lol

The only reason I like this is because of Puljujarvi and Mete's ages compared to Gio downgrading.

Ages don't make much of a difference in this one due Gio's good contract... Not a single one of those players will ever touch 90 overall, let alone 88, and no combination of them equals that in this deal. This isn't a deal you would see IRL, especially since there's retainment on a $1M contract. 😂😂 I knew you were out to lunch on a lot of this, man...
