I don't mind the auto-downgrades if their performance can off-set it, if they're playing well as 33+ yr old players. Cuz it's not cut and dried that you automatically suck after 32. |

I don’t think it is. Age means nothing to the game so if you have a 85 OA 35 year old that performs well and doesn’t downgrade, he could do that until he is 60 hypothetically. -1 makes sense as players age they naturally slow down some. Doesn’t mean they have 0 value tho. |

Yeah, but we're retiring guys well before Gordie years here too. lol Sure, they downgrade their -1 or -2, but if they perform well, they should still get the performance upgrades. So if Brown gets his -1 auto, but deserves a +2 based on performance, he should still get a +1. |

I like that, obviously  I kinda feel like there should be some kind of adjustment to the way older players are downgraded. Its so hard to move them, and it sucks if they’re still playing decent. It seems like the balance of value is skewed pretty hard to young players. |
