I thought Kaliyev was on Kings already. Is he going to Flames?

No need for Kaliyev in this deal so I’m going to reject if anything flames should be getting a prospect for taking on Quick

As far as value, this is the lowest offer to be honest. So I’m surprised about the bit of backlash. I got offered 2 different 90+ goalies to swap, and an 88 goalie. So obviously Quick’s value isn’t as low as some think. But I didn’t want to make anyone upset by acquiring an asset strictly for the purpose of flipping. Jones is going to waivers, and this helps CGY stabilize goaltending until Rittich gets back. I get a prospect.

You guys have telling me it’s my D. He’ll be much better on CGY.
And again, this was the lowest offer as far as value. So I don’t see what the problem is. You’d hate if he got moved for a 90+ starter. I just don’t need that, and wouldnt want to waste that kinda of asset on waivers.

Quick is garbage and at least with Jones he’s a free agent after this year. There is no point in having Kaliyev in this deal. You’re just getting a free prospect imo and flames is doing you a huge favour in taking on Quick. Shouldn’t be surprised at all lol I’m always surprised teams somehow suck in other teams in doing these types of trades lol. If this was Quick straight across for Jones sure why not but with the prospect now I’m just questioning flames who said he wants to rebuild so he’d be better off with an injured goalie anyway and Kaliyev. Like I said I’m pretty sure Quick is on pace for -5 which makes this trade even worse. Let alone Flames doesn’t have the cap room again to make this trade. But I’m just one man and that’s my opinion on the trade. Take out Kaliyev and you can have my accept
