Yeah, and Jones was in for a downgrade too. That trade should’ve been a non issue. I don’t have anything else to add. If people want to believe this somehow makes sense for Calgary, when everyone seems so concerned with “helping” him, I guess I don’t have anything else to add. I see how things work. Giving up Connor in this deal makes no sense. Especially when Bobo could’ve been had for ALOT less. Your acting like it’s bob for Connor and bura means nothinf

Again, what’s the point of the reject? You guys didn’t like the Quick deal? Fine. Get over it. Tell dude you don’t like the value. But to reject a deal involving 2 older goalies, both at roughly the same age/ cap hit OA, with an AVERAGE prospect thrown in, is RIDICULOUS! It’s not reject worthy. It’s just a power trip. Especially when shit like this gets defended

Am I missing something with how players are upgraded? How would Burakovsky be an 87 after this season? It has been mentioned twice now and I don't understand it. He doesn't have the points, he's on pace for no upgrade when looking at points, so does he have lots of hits? That's a stat we don't see.

Exactly that - this is why I always say GMs can ask me for those stats at ANYTIME if they are making trades

He’s also a pending UFA. That’s all well and good that Admin KNOWS he’ll resign in CGY. Is that what we’re assuming at this point? That must be nice to know that.

If you have it readily available, would you mind providing what Bura's hit totals at the end of Jan are.

Rittich is in for an upgrade to an 87. And he’s going to get it because he’s injured.
And again, why would CGY trade Connor for a pending UFA? It’s asinine

The Quick trade made sense. He was getting a proven playoff performer, with higher OA for Jones, who has just as terrible stats as you are all saying about Quick. If UFA status doesn’t matter in Burakovskys instance, it shouldn’t matter with Jones. I get the prospect for the difference in OA. Again, you don’t like it, fine. But reject worthy? It’s the type of deal that happens EVERY trade deadline. This ideal here is just gross, and nonsensical.

It’s asinine You are forgetting Bobrovsky is an 88 making 5.0M for two years. Bob went GP: 4 W: 2 L 0 OTL: 2 SO: 1 GA: 6 in the last two sims too which brought his stat line up to GP: 24 W: 6 L: 13 OTL: 4 SO: 1 SV%: 0.905 GAA: 3.75 Put him on an elite team like CGY and his numbers are only going to inflate, just like Rittich will deflate on a shit team like MIN

Yeah and maybe Quick’s would’ve rebounded on an elite team too. Cmon. You can’t micromanage shit like this, and then turn around propose this, or people are going to lose interest. I’m just saying.
