As per the NYR-LAK deal, Rangers isn't getting enough for Miller. Minny needs to add a 1st.
Reject.

A precedent was set by allowing the LAK-NYR deal to go through as it was and not removing the 1st. Now this isn't enough for Miller after that. It's simple as that. We can't be sitting here having double standards on this shit when we were already overvaluing developmental players, now they're even worse.

When it affects the entire league in terms of player values, you're damn right we should be doing a little micro managing. These double standards are complete BS, and you're one of the worst ones for it.

You value a 30 year old more than I do and I value a 20 year old more than you do. There’s nothing we can do to stop that. If two people agree on the value of players and are happy with the trades then we really need to stop trying to say “well I value said player like this and so I reject this trade because I can”. Mods were introduced to stop cheating and now they stop like 25% of trades from going through just cause they don’t like it. It’s quite stupid and honestly takes away from the realism of the league.

Yeah, a lot of good that did in the LAK-NYR deal when there was no real need for LA to give up his 1st when he didn't need to in that deal. Madden as a throw in, fine... Even though he wasn't needed in there either. Then we see shit like this here where, based on the values set by that other deal, this clearly isn't enough going to the Rangers. That's what's stupid Joubie... The double standard is stupid.

Yes and no. Problem was at first a lot of the new gms were getting taken advantage of by some vets here. But yes everyone does value players differently. This trade is whatever. Copp is a nothing player journeyman type, Miller for Kunin is fine and Lizzote is a meh player probably end up as good as Copp. So not sure why Kruze is mad tbh lol

How are the newbs going to learn properly when we allow rip jobs like that, whether it's 2 newbs or a vet taking advantage of them?

Otherwise, what's the point of having mods and 5 accepts at all?

It worked for me back at TopCheddar when RK got Couturier for Armstrong from me. I learned real quick the value of players and why that was such a bad trade. Sometimes you have to let them learn from their mistakes, it’s the best way to learn and grow.

Sometmes, yes, when it's more of a player for player deal like this one is, or even your Couturier for Armstrong deal... but when it's not only detrimental to a team, but also throws the entire player value system throughout the whole league out of whack & skews it, that's not good either.
