Simply question: During each and every offseason, do you want to KEEP ALL NTC/NMC *OR* WAIVE ALL NTC/NMC
*note: all NTC/NMC will still be adhered to during regular season activity.

I would actually like to see this be for the first month as well. Nothing is worse then starting off slow and not being able to make any moves. Plus if you don’t have a 1st (I traded mine before the announcement) I can’t do a rebuild. Typically in the past the NTC/NMC has been lighter. I don’t mind the restrictions if they happen later in the season. But if you start off slow, you can be hooped for the entire season.

Honestly, I think that NTC/NMC should be wiped for any contract prior to the league. IF we signed our own NTC/NMC, it should be pretty strictly followed (especially in the 1st 2 seasons).

Wiping out any NTC/NMC is not an option, this is the option we have instead if the league votes for it. Which is looks like is more than likely the case.

It's no secret that I've never been a fan of clauses in sims, but I know many people want them. I think the current rules are pretty good. They make sense and have more leniency than normal. In my opinion it should just be adjusted a bit to where two bottom dwellers can trade if they are only a few points apart. To repost the same trade after every sim hoping to beat the technicality isn't very realistic. Also, if both dwellers are looking to move clauses in the same deal it makes it haywire. Maybe those ones should be a deal where PR has the ability to override the rule if it makes sense? Best of both worlds in that scenario i think.

Personally I think the current rule should be subjective. If the conditions are met, they absolutely will waive no questions asked, but if the conditions aren't met, other subjective factors might come into play.
Like if a last place team is moving an older vet to a team two points out of the playoffs, they'll waive, or the player is moving to their home town team, or they're in their prime playing on the third line and they'll get a chance on a worse team playing on the first line they might waive, etc.
As to the actual question in this poll, Waive all in the offseason seems like a clear winner.

I think the problem becomes, and you know it will happen, when a guy doesn't waive his NTC and one of the GM's gets pissed off about the decision. With concrete rules, there won't be a grey area with trades and clauses.

Rules are fine. They are simple and easy to follow. The problem is not the rules but the GMs who are too lazy to look at them before negotiating a trade. I've gotten multiple offers where I have to tell the other GM you can't include a certain player because of a clause. You can't blame the rules for your team being shitty and not being able to offload players during the season. You can trade the player, you just have to take less for him. That's why GMs are pissed.
I think allowing total player movement in the offseason should be good.

Minnesota Wild GM, if all NTC/NMC are waived during the offseason, does this include NMC and putting players on waivers? Or will it only be for trading that all clauses are waived?
