Why would Suter downgrade so much when he's been fine? Was +15 at Vegas, only problem with my team was that I had a couple key pieces injured and my lines got messed up but once that was resolved I started winning again. I don't think Suter should be downgraded more than a couple overall max this offseason, and that's the logic I was using when making the trade He’s a twd so blocks and points I think |

Then hits and blocks I think Yes, that's why I was thinking a LD core of Giordano, Suter, and Cholowski would work well for Calgary this season then Cholowski could move up for him and become a number one or number two guy after upgrades and MPU. I definitely didn't think Suter would be considered for such huge downgrades lol |

Suter is Blocks + Points until he gets below 86 OA and then becomes Hits + Points. And no matter how much lipstick you put on a pig, it's still a pig. This trade is a shit trade for the Flames. You are saying Flames should play Suter on his 3rd pairing next year and crater his value even more. Plus he needs to use MPU on Cholowski to make this trade have any value to Calgary.

Seeing what Minny posted I would change my accept to a reject but I won’t go back on my word. So sucks for Flames so unless wings is a good guy and backs out flames is screwed lol With what Pittsburgh said and the fact this is already final I don't think I'd back out now, especially since I already updated my roster and lines. I still think this is fair and will work out for Calgary this season. I definitely disagree with Suter being downgraded so hard though but even then he can become Calgary's third pair guy and Cholowski can move up after upgrades. Cholowski could become an 85 after MPU and be the same next season as Hanifin is now. |

Well that's not what I was thinking going into the deal. Suter in real life isn't known as a high CF high xGF kinda guy; he's a pure DFD and that's how he sims in EA games too. Do note that he was playing Giordano second line which cradled his value. It's a matter of perspective. |

Yeah its Final - and that doesnt really make sense for CGY when he has Hanifin at 87 next year without MPU and can just slot in Juolevi as 3rd LD and grow him as an asset opposed to having Suter just slowly die on the blueline and carry a cap hit that will be a disadvantage for when Gaudreau contract negotiations take place next season |

Our job as mods is to protect those who don’t understand the rules well enough yet. That was missed here and Flames got screwed hardcore. Lucky for Flames he not only got out of a terrible contract but also gained a top pairing guy for the next decade out of it
