Where were all these rejects for the Dunn trade? I’m giving up so much more and for a player equal to Dunn value, and people thought I was “micromanaging “ that trade by trying to reject it and that it was a fine trade cause STL GM “knew what he was doing”. Then when I post one that’s similar since the league set the market value by accepting Dunn to BOS, it’s seeing more rejects then accepts. It logically makes zero sense, consistency is key to these leagues being successful, not deciding one similar trade is good and the other isn’t. If Dunn to BOS was rejected I wouldn’t even have offered this sort of package, yet here we are cause the league already deemed that trade more than acceptable. Wasn’t Dunn a 1 for 1 trade this has 9 pieces to it? Like an 85 for an 80/81 guy freeing cap? To me that would equal like Yandle for Soucy or Bernd-Docker or idk? I think with Ekblad he has name value lol so he’s probably overrated. Those 3 60s are basically useless like nucks said. Throwing a bunch of crap with more crap doesn’t make it any better this is something Joub would do lol. That’s my opinion at least.

I understand the rejects due to Retention. BUT it is only there so he stays over cap floor.. so dont see the problem when itvis this season only. IMO you all are reading in way to Hard on this trade

This happens all the time when the trades are close. Sometimes it gets passed, sometimes it doesn't. Usually a few rejects at least on each. We're just mods doing our job, if you don't want us to do that, then just get rid of mods altogether.

I'd like to point out that Minnesota is literally trading his third pair for Florida's first pair. What is Minnesota adding? He's adding some 60 overall specs and a couple future picks that will likely be late even if this deal didn't go through. This trade is horrendously unfair to Florida considering how well his team has done. He'd *literally* be trading his well performing top pair for a bottom pair and low-value assets that have a high chance of never making the NHL. You guys can do better than this

Thanks for making my experience here worth while. What do you mean? We're doing our assigned jobs as trade mods. We're not going to accept all your trades just because you're the admin--that wouldn't be fair. I've had trades denied before, and so have others. There's no agenda out against you...I just don't find this trade to be fair to Florida.

I've been trying to not vote on trades as I had asked to be removed as a trade mod on Feb 18.

I honestly don't see the value for Florida. I tried looking for the Dunn deal that keeps getting mentioned as a comparison but can't find it. I do know Dunn isn't Ekblad. The game lists Ekblad as Elite, and I think most GMs would agree he's a top 2 D and is still young enough to be a franchise cornerstone. I'm just not seeing anything going to Florida that will ever replace that. Everyone knows I'm not a dude that likes rejecting trades but this one needs more work imo. Sorry dudes, it's a reject from me.

It was linked on the first page of this thread but you make a great point about the potentials I didn’t consider that and it does make a big difference with simming
