accepted I could not turn down a deal with Jack Hughes in it. This gives us a huge piece to build around!!!

I did but when we get an offer like this why would we refuse?

New Jersey had plans to make Hughes our captain and live happily ever after with him but this trade allows us to have one of the best top 6 in the NHL as well as making our top 4 one of the best.

As much as I love Hughes and want to keep him a deal like this is too hard to pass up on.

New Jersey accepts pending me going to work and calculating our cap to make sure we’re not over haha

Yeah, we are a bit over, waiting on a response from Cook and then this deal should be final.
