It’s not a league issue because what you’re talking about is YOUR ability to negotiate what YOU deem to be a fair trade. Oh Blow me... 🙄 lol You know I'm right, and anyone with even half a brain does too. I'm not saying it's completely wrong either. But I am saying it's being abused, and could be abused further, and needs to be addressed. Sure, I dropped the ball on simming a few times, but shit like this was my bread & butter. 🤷 And I'm telling you, this shit, needs to be reigned in a bit, at least, cuz it's 100% broken for the format we're doing, especially with the mentality of 90% of the folks right now. We have the exact same rules for retention that the NHL does. No team can carry more than 3 retentions, 50% of one contract & no more than a total of 15% of the Salary Cap. In our case, our Salary Cap is 86.000M so no team can hold more than 12.900M in total retentions this season.
The only one having issues with it is you. Furthermore, your argument is invalid since the sample size you use is only relative to your own experience, and not the league as a whole. Now please move on already cause its not changing.
