Reject. I’d be fine with this deal if the cap retainment is 1 year or 2-3 million throughout how about 3.5M this season and 2.5M next? That way it's technically 3M throughout but I need more this season to make the deal go through.

I just don't get how this is accepted with no problems but somehow my deals always have issues. Ffs can we have some damn consitency. I swear you guys just see my name and automatically think I'm trying to fuck somebody over. hockleague.freeforums.net/thread/8395/panthers-penguins1) It's not just you... Had I seen that deal, I would've rejected that one too, even though I absolutely despise Suter. lol 2) Are you seriously comparing Ryan Suter to Alex Ovechkin? 🤨😂😂 Not to mention the fact that Pens wasn't being saddled with paying half of Soot's contract to try & circumvent cap cuz they actually made a fair deal & took the cap into account without retainment. Plus, who's more likely to achieve their stats targets to maintain their overall; Soots or Ovi? 🤷 All your little buzzwords & catch phrases like "negative value" & "declining" don't really apply here cuz Ovi isn't likely to drop below 89 by the time this contract expires. So this is about consistency Joubie... And it is about you trying to pull a fast one. Not only on Pens, but on the entire league as whole... "Hey look... I get a 90 overall player, only have to pay him $5M & I didn't give up sweet fuck all, comparatively, to do it." Cuz none of those players, including your paltry draft picks, will ever be a 90 overall. It's ridiculous.

And what if Ovi gets injured? He can get a -5 lmao. But whatever, do what you guys want lol. All I ask for consistency, if you accept the Suter deal then this should be accepted too. Minny told me when I started that injuries don’t affect upgrades/downgrades. And by that rationale, what if any player gets injured? So now value is all hypotheticals? Lame

The picks aren't really worth that much if you go on the premise that Leafs will be a contender/top team in the league and they'll be top 25-30 overall picks.

People kept saying I would be top of the league last season and I ended up with the 19th pick lol. Takes one injury to ruin a season. You can't value my pick as worthless when we don't even know what pick it is.

Avs changed his reject with the change of retention I am confused, when was it announced retention was changed? Avs said he'd accept if there was retention at 3M instead of 5. I said 3.5M this season, 2.5M next. It's in the thread lol. Just a lot of people fighting with eachother. But to make an announcement so everybody sees RETAINMENT HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM 5M FOR 2022 & 2023 TO 3.5M FOR 2022 & 2.5M FOR 2023
