That’s my point though. You look at a deal for what it is in the current moment and not what it can be. In the current moment does the trade look lopsided? Yes. 5 seasons from now will the trade be lopsided? Hell no, it’ll probably be Colorado on the better end of it.

That is doubtful. Philly has a good team on paper that pick isnt going to be as good as Avs wants it to be. But I guess anything could happen.

No... Again... I don't. I just don't look at it solely on projections & assumptions of what hasn't happened yet. Yes, they're likely going to get better, but that's not guaranteed either; no one under 23 or over 34 is guaranteed anything. Yes, what can happen later should be a bit of factor, but not the the only/main factor. What's in front of your eyes is, not what may or may not happen 5 years down the road.
